Appointment Required

An appointment is required for consigning AFTER your items are approved via email. We must approve any and all merchandise before it is brought in. Consignment appointments are on weekdays only, Tuesday through Friday.

Merchandise Accepted

We consign bridal gowns, flower girl dresses, veils, bridal jewelry and hair pieces. All items must be in pristine condition. We only consign items that are newer than 4-5 years old. We do NOT accept vintage gowns or anything beyond 5 years. We do NOT accept bridesmaid dresses, prom or mother dresses.​

 

Term
Merchandise is accepted for consignment for a period of 6 months. All gowns are available for sale in store and bridal gowns are also listed on our website. There is a $25 non-refundable fee for bridal gowns only that it due at the time of consigning. After the 6 month period, the consignor may retrieve any unsold items or donate them to SBBB. Items must be picked up within 14 days of the contract termination date or they will become the store's property.

Sale of Consigned Goods

The consignor receives 50% of the sale price, based upon the predetermined and agreed upon selling price. We do NOT purchase gowns outright or upfront. All merchandise is listed on consignment only.

Dry Cleaning

All items must be cleaned before they are consigned, unless they are new/unworn. If there are any residual stains, regardless of the item being new/unworn/worn, we may ask they be properly cleaned to remove any and all stains before they are consigned. We only accept merchandise in pristine condition. Please look over your items very carefully and closely BEFORE bringing them in for consignment!

Preservation
If your gown has been boxed and preserved, it must be removed from the box BEFORE filling out the consignment form and before bringing it in. You must remove the gown and look it over yourself, beforehand. It must be in near perfect condition!

Payments

Payment will be mailed out within 10-14 days after the sale. Payment will be processed  and mailed through check.

Liability

We will do everything in our effort to preserve your merchandise while on consignment. All bridal gowns are stored in plastic garment bags. If there is any unforeseen damage to the merchandise, SBBB is not liable for those damages. We are very careful with our merchandise!

Exposure 

Our gowns will be also be advertised and available on our website, some are taken to bridal shows and events (if applicable), posted on social media and featured in customized videos for additional exposure! 
 

Selection

Please note we are unable to consign every gown or item that is brought to us based on currently inventory levels, space, item cleanliness and/or on-trend styles. Please do not be offended or upset if we are unable to consign your item(s). We know what works and sells with our specific clientele! ​
